The weather has been slowly, slowly warming. We had some false starts which ended with blizzards and piles of snow being heaped upon us, but it has all melted, and the season of pot-hole craters and construction has begun. With it, I hope, comes warmer weather.
I’m already planning my summer and what I hope to accomplish. Recently, with my plans being ruined and finding out that I have an additional two months of summer with nothing to do (which I’ll pay for later with an extra four months of classes). I’ve decided that I’m going to enjoy these months and do as much as I can. I just haven’t decided what the “doing” will entail.
I am looking forward to a end of the summer trip to Calgary. I get to see my little cousins and visit more family, which is great since there aren’t many left in Winnipeg.
I’m also planning on visiting each and every drive-in that Winnipeg has to offer. I’ve already hit up one of them, the Red Boot Drive-In and the food was delicious. The fries, their specialty, are amazing and I’m definitely going back for more!
